Patting a member on the back

You know one of the biggest complaints that I hear from people is that they can’t get any referrals and that all the site owners get them all.  They wish there was a way to build their list and get referrals to some of their favorite programs.  Well as I was surfing, I spotted this page and doing this blog post as a way of patting a member on the back.

Now I know you are wondering how in the world can a person get referrals when they don’t own their own site, well this is one clever way that I have seen and want to give kudos to Robert Moreno for coming up with a way to build his list.

Robert Moreno’s Top 8 Traffic Exchange Celebration

Now how cool is that – awesome looking page and I give him credit for believing in his programs that he’s willing to spend money to have a promotion like this on his own.  So you see – you don’t have to own your own site and you can have your own promo.  Isn’t that an interesting concept.

While I’m patting a member on the back, I would also like to thank Robert for sponsoring Zaney Clicks in some of the promotional hunts that are out there also.  So the next time that you get all down in the dumps because you are not getting referrals – think outside the box and you can even follow Robert’s lead and get creative.

So everyone get your thinking caps on and I know that you will be able to come up with a way to get them referrals coming in.  Would love you hear your comments of how you think outside the box – feel free to share in the comment area.

  1. Robert is a very active member using the resources available to him to build his downlines. I love the fact he is spending money to make money- Wow what a concept. I would, also, like to take this time to Thank Robert for sponsoring HFH in so many Prize Hunts. It is an awesome feeling when you get that kind of support from one of your members. Thanks for this chance to “pat him on the back” with you Nancy.

  2. I agree Nancy, everyone says be different but if someone actually tries something different they are put down ie that will never work. Do it this way and then we have cookie cutter thinking. I want to also thank Robert for sponsoring Surf Bass in promos. You can do it with little money but putting your money where your mouth is, is much better.
When I was a kid I made potholders and sold them. I bought my own loops and tried different designs and they sold. Yes some to family and friends but one summer we were living near Kansas City Mo. My dad was a carpenter and work was seasonal so we were in a small trailer park. There was a small grocery store (it would be called a convenience store now) across a wooden bridge by the highway. This is back when kids could be out of sight and their mom not worry. Anyway I would make some potholders then stand by the store and ask customers if they wanted to buy some. FYI Men bought more than women lol.
There are a lot of ways to get er done.

  4. Oh my… what can I say. I’m honored and grateful for the pat Nancy 🙂

It’s been and still is lot’s of fun trying to create more traffic, challenging and rewarding in many ways too. My success is due to the partnership of the many wonderful, creative & dedicated participating TE Owners such as yourself.

    Long live the entrepreneurial spirit!

Slowly but surely, it won’t be long until I host a Top 16 TE Celebration!

    Woo Hoo! Surf’s Up!
    Robert 🙂

    • Well Robert you set a great example for others and thought the world should know and see you don’t have to be a site owner to make it work – keep up the great work 🙂 and thanks again for all that you do – I for one really appreciate it

  5. Awesome idea, and it’s always good to think out of the box. Nancy, cudos to you for patting a member on the back. And Robert, what a great idea! Cudos to you to. You had an idea and you went for it. Who cares what others say, especially if they have not done it themselves. They must have the crap-syndrom. Whoot Whoot!
