About Nancy Radlinger

I bet you are wondering who in the world is Nancy Radlinger. Well, I am a divorced grandma and I live in Wisconsin and love it here. All though, born and raised in NC, I have lived in Wisconsin for 38 years now and it’s my home.

After the divorce, I looked for ways to earn money as I lost my job with the divorce – my ex and I had built up a landscaping company from scratch. I did keep the mini garden center and gift shop part and moved it to my home. This also give me time to either work in my own gardens or online between customers and I soooooooooo love what I am doing.

In my spare time, I have learned to line dance and this is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Line dancing is my escape from my businesses – it gives me the mental break I need and also a great physical workout – don’t even fill like exercise as you are having so much fun.

Line Dancing

My family consist of my best friend, Bailey (golden lab) and he has just been an awesome companion – he knows me so well – he can actually tell when I need a break and bugs me to play ball with him till I get up and go play with him – he has me trained so well lol.  Bailey went to Doggy Heaven a year ago now.

Also, I have one son and he and his family live in Iowa – have one granddaughter – she is such a joy and love when she comes and spends time with me.

In the last 4 years, I have been learning online marketing and I am finding that most of what I have learned has been the hard way – trial and error but those are the best lessons sometimes.

How it got started…………

Just a little about me. My ex and I owned and operated a landscaping company for 25 years and since the divorce I have discovered I’m at that magic age – too old to be hired by anyone and too young for social security – sooooooooooooo what do I do.

The first thing I did was to clean house and that is how I got started with working online. I started selling on Ebay and WOW that was interesting learning all that HTLM coding and a challenge for this granny – learning everything the hard way – trial and error. After months, I learned my way around Ebay and discovered the chat room and met many friends that have been very encouraging. But it was the bloggers on Ebay that thru me the life jacket when I seemed to be drowning (lack of sales) The bloggers have taught me so many things that my poor brain is on overload most of the time. (lolol)

Well, then I got brave (or crazy) and started my own website and wow that has been an interesting experience. This is one of those time being a newbie that I thought at the time was the right thing to do but soon found that I had been taken for a ride by the dropshipper – another learning experience – guess you never get too old to learn.

Well, with the ebay strike/boycott, the sellers were concerned about having all their eggs in one basket so we started looking for other sources and was told about YUWIE and wow was that a great day – you people are the greatest – I am on brain overload now. I have met soooooooooo many nice people here and have a growing family of friends – I’m just thrilled to have met so many wonderful people and the tips, suggestions, referrals are just unreal.

Moving on……………….

My next step in this wonderful new internet world I discovered affiliate marketing and more social networking – that has really been an education. I was really skeptic at the time but have to admit that I’m getting proved wrong – this really does work. The only problem I have discovered is that some of the sites have rules on what links you can advertise or even talk about – so I decided to start my own social site
If you want to find out some of the mistakes I have made, some of the things I have learned the hard way and what is working now for me. Also, I will never be the type of person that will not ask you to join something that is not working for me and am not one of those people that flood you with invites – what I do is write blogs about what I’m doing and you can read them when you want or decide if they are right for you – then you can join or not. The next chapter in my life came about by accident, all my life I have collected hummingbirds items and have them thru out my house. I also love gardening and enjoy them during the spring, summer and fall in my gardens and at my feeders. So when I stumbled onto Hummingbird Hits and it was for sale – well it just seemed that it had my name written on it – it seemed like an door of opportunity opening for me – so I bought the site on 11/11/08 and this ole granny is still learning. Life just never seems to amaze ma and I have learned from experience to go with the flow of things in your life you never know when your door will open for you. One thing I want to say before closing is that after all these years, I finally am happy, I love my job and I don’t mind working 12-16 hours a day to make all this work – I have been and will continue working as I have something to prove to ME – I CAN DO IT.  Fell in love with TE’s so much then got Zaney Clicks.  Also, love to use Text Ad Exchanges and you will hear more about them on this blog.

Thanks for listening to me babble – and by now you are wondering how in the world does she keep up with all this – well, I’m SERIOUS about what I’m doing here on-line and believe that things are not handed to you on a silver platter – YOU HAVE TO WORK FOR WHAT YOU GET – call me a little old fashioned – but it has worked for me in the real world – it will work here also. Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go; be what you want to be, because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do
