Salute to Veteran Surf

There comes a time that you just have to stop and take the time and pat a few people on the back and I would like to do that now – Greg McClinchey, Justin and Marie Perrelet for the awesome job they are doing with a site that is dear to my heart (my Dad served 20 years and my son 10 years) and here is a tribute to my ex’s Dad Honoring Richard Radlinger – His Story – Salute to Veteran Surf.

Now before you think this is just another traffic exchange – think again.  This site is a place to pay tribute to vets and I just love how that any vet can be added to the roll call list – I feel that sometimes these names and the people behind these names should have a place to let people like me come and say thank you.

While surfing there, I have learned about why wearing a red shirt on Friday is important. There is also a way of saying thank you and letting a vet know when you see them without even saying a word – and it’s called the Gratitude Campaign – did you know that?  You can read about it at Veteran Surf and watch a wonderful video.

Have you ever heard about the Angel Flight – now that was interesting watching the video on that and hearing the story behind it.  Also, while surfing I got to read about one of the many heroes – did you read the one about Shifty yet?  You can by surfing Veteran Surf.

Started by a Vet, Greg had a vision and wanted a place where he could bring awareness to others about vets, wanted a way to give back and thus Veteran Surf was created.  Each month, on the main page you will see a charity of the month.

If you are looking for a place to join and promote, I would add this site to your list.  You will be getting great support from some hard-working people behind the scene, join the Skype chat room and meet the staff and say Hi to Greg (even tho he’s shy) – thank him, and let’s help show our support for what he’s doing here.  Click the banner and join today – you
won’t be sorry on this one.
