You may be wondering who in the world Nancy Radlinger is.
I’m a divorced grandma living in Wisconsin — and I absolutely love it here. Although I was born and raised in North Carolina, Wisconsin has been my home for over 38 years.
After my divorce, my life took an unexpected turn. My ex-husband and I had built a landscaping company from scratch, and when that chapter ended, so did my job. I found myself at that difficult stage — too young for Social Security, but too old for many employers to consider hiring.
So I did what I’ve always done. I adapted.
I kept the mini garden center and gift shop portion of the business and moved it to my home. This gave me the flexibility to work with customers while also spending time in my gardens — and eventually, exploring something completely new… the online world.
And I fell in love with it.
Finding My Escape and My Strength
During this time, I discovered line dancing — and it became my escape. It gave me a mental break from the stress and a physical outlet that never felt like exercise because it was simply fun. It helped restore my balance during a time of rebuilding.
My family has always been my anchor.
My best friend for many years was Bailey, my golden lab. He knew me better than anyone. He could sense when I needed a break and would nudge me until I stopped working and played ball with him. Bailey went to Doggy Heaven, but he will always hold a special place in my heart.
I also have a wonderful son and granddaughter in Iowa. Time with them is one of my greatest joys.
How My Online Journey Began
My online journey started in the most unexpected way — cleaning house.
I began selling items on eBay. At first, it was overwhelming. Learning HTML coding, listing products, and navigating the system was a challenge for this “granny.” Everything I learned came through trial and error.
But those lessons were priceless.
The real turning point came when I discovered the blogging community on eBay. The bloggers there threw me a lifeline when sales were slow and discouraging. They shared knowledge, encouragement, and friendship — and helped me realize the power of community online.
That was when I knew this was something bigger.
Lessons Learned the Hard Way
Like many beginners, I made mistakes. I trusted the wrong dropshippers. I tried things that didn’t work. I faced setbacks that could have easily made me quit.
But every mistake taught me something valuable.
When eBay sellers began realizing the danger of relying on a single platform, many of us started exploring other opportunities. That’s when I discovered social networking, affiliate marketing, and traffic exchanges.
At first, I was skeptical.
But I quickly learned something important:
This works — if you’re willing to work.
The Moment That Changed Everything
Then one day, something unexpected happened.
I have always loved hummingbirds. My home and gardens are filled with them. So when I stumbled across a traffic exchange called Hummingbird Hits and saw that it was for sale, it felt like fate.
On November 11, 2008, I bought Hummingbird Hits.
That moment changed everything.
I didn’t know exactly what I was doing — but I knew I was willing to learn.
Not long after, I fell in love with traffic exchanges even more and eventually acquired Zaney Clicks. These sites became more than just businesses — they became my passion, my purpose, and my community.
Why I Do What I Do
I’ve never believed in promoting something that I don’t personally use or believe in.
Everything I share, everything I build, and everything I promote comes from my own experience.
I don’t flood people with invites.
Instead, I share my journey — the mistakes, the lessons, and the successes — so others can decide what path is right for them.
Because this isn’t just about earning online.
It’s about independence.
It’s about proving to yourself that you can rebuild.
It’s about discovering strength you didn’t know you had.
Still Learning. Still Growing. Still Dreaming.
Even after all these years, I’m still learning.
And I still love what I do.
I don’t mind working long hours, because this isn’t just work — it’s something I built. Something I believe in.
Most importantly, I had something to prove.
Not to anyone else.
But to myself.
And I did it.
Dream what you want to dream.
Go where you want to go.
Be what you want to be.
Because you have only one life — and one chance to make it yours.

Hi Nancy! Thank you for sharing. Whether you believe it or not, you are a good writer, and it was from the heart. Awesome, and I appreciate it very much!
Thanks Terry and I don’t feel that I am but I was told years ago write like you are talking to the computer – so that is what I do – my cat thinks I’m crazy when she tries to figure out who I’m talking to as sometimes lol
